Validation of pairs of antibodies directed against a single antigen
We determine whether antibodies we have developed for you and/or antibodies you have supplied are complementary for the target using Biacore™ analysis (Surface Plasmon Resonance).
This analysis enables us to identify antibodies that bind to different epitopes on target molecule and thus select antibody pairs that would work well together in a sandwich ELISA.
We can also select for other parameters, such as antibody affinity for the target antigen, in order to choose the most suitable capture antibody.
When developing a murine antibody, antibody pairs can be validated at an early stage in the protocol, by direct analysis of the supernatants during screening.
